Glamorous Sunday at Orly airport. The regional misses boarded the plane bound for sunny Ivory Coast. The African country is hosting for the first time the traditional preparatory trip for the thirty candidates for the Miss France 2025 election. A great first for the organization.
“Côte d’Ivoire is a multi-faceted destination with a very strong cultural and historical heritage. I am happy that the 30 candidates from all regions of France can live this authentic and unique experience in this warm and welcoming land,” commented Frédéric Gilbert, the president of the Miss France Society, in a press release relayed this Wednesday 16 october. An experience in which Eve Gilles (Miss France 2024) will participate.

The dreaded general knowledge test
For his part, the Minister of Tourism and Leisure of Côte d'Ivoire Siandou Fofana stressed the extent to which hosting the Miss trip was “an honor” for his country: “This stay will offer the candidates the opportunity to discover the legendary hospitality of our people, while exploring the natural and gastronomic wonders that make Ivory Coast a must-see destination. We are delighted to contribute to this prestigious event.”
