(…) In South Africa, we were in a fairly large hut which served as a town hall, a dispensary, a church, a bit of everything. We were there for a disenchantment ceremony, which seemed quite common there. I had to attend this. (…) And before entering this house, we all washed our feet in water. So we all came home, there was this very exciting ceremony. And, in the end, I see that everyone is starting to drink rather dubious water from a bottle that is passed from hand to hand. I ask what it is and I am told that it is the water in which everyone washed their feet. We were still around sixty in the room“, she remembered.

Then, Julie Andrieu clarified that she had eaten everything during her travels. Hatched eggs, ant eggs, live grubs, guinea pigs… she tested everything because it was “part of the game“. If she never fell ill by consuming dishes that were outside her usual habits, the beautiful blonde had a health problem… while eating in a hotel. “I fell ill in India, on a personal trip where I left alone. I got very sick, I went to the hospital. It was one of the rare times I treated myself to a fancy meal in a hotel and got sick. It served as a lesson to me. (…) I drank tap water. I did a lot of stupid things, because I didn't realize it at first. Maybe it made me immune“, she concluded.
