2024 marks the great return of Linkin Park ! After the suicide of its singer Chester Bennington, the nu metal band recruited singer Emily Armstrong, released a new album and toured the world. But that's not all because the French public could well be in for a nice surprise.
The return of Linkin Park marred by controversy
It was in July 2017 that fans of Linkin Park learn of the death of Chester Bennington, singer of the group, who committed suicide. Seven years after this tragic disappearance, the nu metal group announces its return. For the occasion, the musicians decided to reform around the American singer Emily Armstrong. If this return was supposed to be good news, the singer of the group had caused a controversy. The latter was accused of supporting actor Danny Marterston during his sexual assault trial. Emily Armstrong was forced to apologize on social media.
With the reformation of the group, Linkin Park announced a new single titled The Emptiness Machine and a new album, From Zerois scheduled to be released this November 15. At the beginning of the month, the French public was able to see the group again at Paris La Défense Arena but it seems that Linkin Park particularly appreciated France because a nice surprise is being prepared.
Linkin Park will delight the French public in 2025
Several clues in the group's communication suggest that a world tour is being prepared for the release of the group's new album. Indeed, on social networks we can see that several theaters both in North America and in Europe have shared a visual on which we can read “Counting to from Zero” of which an X is on the to which refers to the title of the new album of Linkin Park. A photo taken from the stands shows this visual and was shared on the Stade de France Instagram account. The publication is also accompanied by the caption: “Thursday November 14, 1 p.m.“.
It was enough for fans of Linkin Park. Something is going on and everything suggests that the world tour plans to visit the Stade de France in 2025. It remains to find out if this will be the official announcement of this date or the opening of the ticket office. See you at 1 p.m.!
