TELEVISION – The timing couldn’t be more perfect. This Wednesday, November 13, Gladiator 2 was released in cinemas. Coincidentally, the original film, with Russell Crow, was also in the spotlight the same day during the fourth evening of the auditions of France has incredible talent on M6.
For four weeks now, Karine Le Marchand has been at the helm of the 19th season of LFAUIT. The jurors gathered at the André Malraux theater had to observe a new wave of performances. Original ones, like that of a geolocation specialist, unconvincing ones like that of a non-professional ventriloquist, or even astonishing ones, like a hand-to-hand duet performed in the rain.

The Golden Buzzer for “France has incredible talent”.
The jurors and the public applauded the performance of the Belgian group Just Vox. BigBen, Philippe, Véro, Oriane and Valentine form this a capella singing group, made up of a beat boxer and four singers. For their audition, they created a medley taken from the film's soundtrack. Gladiator released in 2000, composed by Hans Zimmer and Lisa Gerrard.

The Golden Buzzer by Marianne James
It's a medley that the group posted five months ago on its social networks in its long version, as you can hear in this video by clicking here.
A performance which also won the Golden Buzzer for Marianne James. Indeed, after Karine Le Marchand, Éric Antoine and the Platinium Buzzer, the lyrical singer chose to grant them her only golden ticket to the semi-final. As we can see on Just Vox's social networks, the group covers recent songs as well as older ones, but also film music like that of Dune 2 released in February.

In July, Just Vox won the public prize at Vokal Total, an international a cappella singing competition. A first step to win France has incredible talent 2024 and the check for 100,000 euros promised to the winner? Before that, the group will have to pass the semi-final stage and convince not only the jurors, but also the viewers.
