Full success for Taylor Swift on Sunday evening. The American pop megastar triumphed at the MTV European Awards where she picked up four awards, during a ceremony celebrating the biggest names in world music in Manchester (UK).

Ariana Grande, pop artist of the year

In a pre-recorded message, the “Shake it off” singer expressed her “sadness” at not being able to be there. “The fact that you won the tour, the album and the video [du clip Fortnight] it’s just incredible,” she said, praising her compatriot Post Malone.

At the top of the nominations – seven in total – she however lost to Ariana Grande in the pop artist of the year category. Not to mention his gigantic “Eras” tour, the most lucrative in music history. A record year for the thirty-year-old who was crowned the title of personality of the year by the magazine Time.

Three awards for singer Tyla
