Khabib Nurmagomedov will not return

Now the Russian believes he could return to the sport and dominate the current generation of lightweights. However, without his mentor and father, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, by his side, the legend is adamant: he will never return. During an interview for the Podcast PBDKhabib Nurmagomedov said: “ Even now, I believe I can beat anyone in the world. I'm not old. A lot of people forget why I retired. It wasn't because I was old, it was because my father died. I didn't want to do this without him. Since birth, I have been a competitor. Many people train for 10-20 years, but inside they are not warriors. They are professionals, but not warriors. When you are professional and deep down you are a warrior, you can become champion, defend your title and be the best in the world. » From now on, the ex-champion lightweight focuses on its new role: creating champions.
