The Instagram account of its bloggers from Haute-Vienne and Corrèze has more than 456,000 subscribers. Objective stated after having traveled extensively around the world: to introduce Limousin to Internet users and encourage people to launch the same approach elsewhere in France. Because the regional territory conceals many treasures and what's more, it's good for the planet.

He is from Seilhac, in Corrèze, and she from Limoges: Guillaume Bordas, thirty-four years old, and Anne-Sophie Dubreuil, thirty-three years old, were united, in particular, by the love of travel.
On their Instagram page, beautiful landscape photos parade: lhe Viaduct of the country from Tulle to Naves in Corrèze, the castle of Mercuès in the Lot, but also the white sand beach and the light blue of the ocean of French Polynesia or the round houses of the hobbits of the trilogy 'Lords of the Rings'in New Zealand: “It was there that we discovered our common passion for travel, but also that of photography. Guillaume was already doing it before”, remembers the blogger.
The duo meets at his workplace. Guillaume is in the communications department of a community and Anne-Sophie is an assistant in a neighboring department.
Two years of collaboration allowed the pair to build bonds of friendship and trust. “Who would have said that such an ordinary encounter could give rise to such an extraordinary adventure?” wonders the Corrézien.
Indeed, in 2016, Anne-Sophie decided to launch a freelance career as a social manager (a Social Media Manager manages the organization of communications campaigns on a company's social networks, Editor's note) “The simple idea that our professional paths could separate was the trigger”he admits.
Together, they begin their first trip to New Zealand. “Despite all the destinations we have visited, Iceland remains our favorite. It was in Iceland that we got engaged”remembers Anne-Sophie. We decided to create an Instagram account to collect all the photos we took. It gained momentum. People had a lot of questions. On social media, we're a little limited, so we thought it would be good to bring everything together on a blog to go further and share advice.”
The blog “Les Voyageurs Français” was born in 2019. Anne-Sophie and Guillaume carry out this activity in their free time.
Although they have crossed continents and oceans, the couple still remains deeply attached to their native region. He created a page dedicated to it on social networks, “Passion Limousin“. Between small villages, green landscapes and heritage, there is no shortage of inspiration. “We are attached to Limousin. We have this desire to make our region known, which is sometimes neglected by tourists. We have know-how, a lot of crafts, gastronomy that we were able to see recently with the spawning house little bellies”, underlines Haute-Vienne.
He does not hesitate to promote the region during their trips abroad: “We made a nice video with a Polynesian who found it curious that we eat Amourettes, the sheep testicles here,” jokes Anne-Sophie.
Among the bloggers' favorite places, they cite Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne, Turenne, Sérandon for which “autumn is the best time to go” in Corrèzebut also Crozant in Creuse, or Mont Gargan in Haute-Vienne.

However, in an era where air travel is singled out for its harmful effect on the environment, the duo is trying to limit its carbon footprint. “It’s true that when we were younger, we took more low-cost flights. Today, we try to choose airlines that are more environmentally friendly.
We take a big trip, about every three years. For closer destinations like Italy, we try to go there twice a year and stay there for at least a week. But naturally, the plane remains polluting.

The duo promotes green tourism by hiking. “We never do activities like jet-skiing for example. When we want to go on boat trips, we favor the most traditional ones. This was the case in Polynesia where we were on a canoe.”
This is why most of the couple's trips are concentrated in France with trips by train or carpooling, when possible. “but it's not easy, when we are in a region where the train is not developed, where we have obsolete lines, where, to access another part of the territory, you have to pass through Paris or Bordeaux” , regrets Limougeaude.
“It's good to go elsewhere, but we also have lots of things close to home. We're lucky to have a very rich and diverse country that we can discover, she emphasizes. And sometimes, it’s not what we have at home that we know best.”
