Émilien, here in the June 3 show of “12 coups de midi”, becomes the greatest champion of French TV games.

TELEVISION – Champion of champions! Émilien, candidate for the daily show The 12 strokes of noon on TF1, made a masterstroke by qualifying for a 253rd participation in the game show, which will be broadcast on Tuesday June 4. The young Vendéen therefore surpasses Bruno Hourcade in number of participations. By becoming the greatest master of midday since the show’s debut in 2010, he also became the greatest champion of TV games in terms of number of participations.

By mid-May, he had already surpassed Bruno’s record in terms of earnings. The 21-year-old had indeed crossed the threshold of 1.02 million euros in his kitty. With such a sum, he also became the candidate to have won the most money on a French game show. His prize pool amounts precisely this Monday, May 3 to 1,088,471 euros.

“I think my family was happier than me”

This impressive track record for this young History student earned him congratulations from the presenter of the 12 shots of noon. “Just a quick note to tell you that he registered just one day in all modesty. Now he is becoming the greatest master of noon.”declared Jean-Luc Reichmann on June 1.

Indeed, the lure of gain does not seem to go to Émilien’s head. “ It didn’t do much for me [de battre Bruno]. I didn’t realize it, and I still don’t realize it. I think my family was happier than me”he explains to our colleagues at Tele-Leisure. And assures: “I want to stay in the game. It’s the only thing that guides me and drives me. »

Émilien has been a fan of the game show since his early childhood. The former candidate of Questions for a champion on France 3 had to put his History studies on hold to continue the adventure.
