After a few days of silence, the host revealed that his father was dead. “My father died on Thursday. Our family was waiting for this death. I thought I was 'prepared', according to a stupid phrase that people say to convince themselves that everything will be fine. I was wrong,” he wrote in his own column, in the Sunday Journal, Sunday October 27, 2024. At the age of 60, the journalist is in mourning while his father had already suffered from health problems for several years. He had in fact been in an Ephad for more than a year, after his wife took care of him for a long period: “A stroke in 2005 disrupted his body and his mind. He was never the same again.” Pascal Praud has revealed intimate details of the end of the life of his father, Roger Praud. “My father did not say a word the last fourteen days of his life.
