Al Pacino confirms he no longer lives with his 16-month-old son Roman

The actor revealed to the BBC on Tuesday, October 15, that he was separated from the mother of his fourth child and communicated with her “via text messages.”

They welcomed their son Roman in June 2023. Since then, Al Pacino and Noor Alfallah have separated, as the actor confirmed in an interview with the BBC on Tuesday, October 15. Both, however, would be involved “co-parents.” The actor further explained to the outlet that he wrote his memoir Sonny Boy “in part” so that his youngest, aged 16 months, discovers his story. “I want to be there for this child,” declared the hero of the Godfather (1972). I hope I am.” Before adding: “I hope to stay in good health, and that he will know who his father is, of course.” Especially since the actor confirmed that he no longer lived with his fourth child and his mother. Their interactions would thus be limited to “online” contacts.

“He sometimes texts me”

“He texts me sometimes,” Al Pacino said of his son Roman. Everything he does is real. Everything he does interests me. So, we talk. I play the harmonica for him remotely, and we have that kind of contact. It’s fun.” An interview in which he describes it as “extraordinary” to have become a father again at the age of 83. In the past, he had also welcomed his eldest daughter, Julie Marie, born in 1989 from his love affair with drama teacher Jan Tarrant.
