Cooper Koch reveals he didn’t use a prosthetic for his nude shower scene

The star of the famous series “Monsters”, Cooper Koch, has dispelled speculation regarding his nude scene.

A mystery solved. On “Watch What Happens Live” Monday, October 14, Cooper Koch, who plays Erik Menendez in “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menéndez Story,” revealed that he did not wear a prosthetic during the filming a nude scene in the shower in the series.

“It must be said that [mon pénis] is not a prosthetic,” the actor said during a segment dedicated to memorable nudity scenes, to which the host responded: “Congratulations, Cooper! You’re lucky, aren’t you?” The actor jokingly replied: “Thank you, thank you! Yes, rather well equipped.

Later in the show, the star clarified that full-frontal nudity “isn’t scary,” but “just uncomfortable at first.” “It’s just cold, especially in the shower,” he added.

An unequivocal position

Since the premiere of the controversial series, created by Ryan Murphy, Cooper Koch and Nicholas Alexander Chavez, who plays Lyle Menendez, have sparked a lot of reactions, particularly due to the homoerotic depiction of the Menendez brothers, convicted of the murder of their parents, José and Kitty Menendez, in 1989.

“It’s important to put things in context, we’re telling a story from someone else’s point of view. This is not necessarily the truth of the facts, but rather what Dominick Dunne thinks [journaliste incarné dans la série par Nathan Lane]and there are several moments in the series that illustrate this plurality of perspectives,” explained Cooper Koch in an interview with Variety.

The actor, who visited the Menéndez brothers in prison last month with criminal justice reform activist Kim Kardashian, said he does not believe the version of events portrayed in the series. “I believe them both. I believe everything they said on the stand is true,” he told Vanity Fair earlier this month.
