She is one of the French’s favorite actresses. The one that many discovered in the role of the assistant Magalie in Untouchables in 2011 has come a long way since then. In just a few years, Audrey Fleurot has become essential for French television and cinema. A flourishing career that nevertheless requires a lot of sacrifices and a fairly strict lifestyle. In Vivement Dimanche, the 46-year-old mother spoke to Michel Drucker about this frantic pace. Quite rare confidences from the one who is a hit in the series HPIwhose new season starts this Thursday, May 16 on TF1.

A frantic pace of filming

Asked about the sequence of filming, Audrey Fleurot explained how she managed her schedule very busy : “I tried to group as much as possible. But on the last day of Departed, the next day I started season 3 of HPI. It’s not easy… I said to myself: ‘I’m not sure I’ll do it again’. Because at the same time it’s complicated, but also exciting when you like the projects that come to you… I’m very happy and very proud to have done it. Afterwards, it’s true that it’s special, the life that goes with it.”, said the actress. Then, she continued on the difficulty of sometimes being far from her home and those she loves.

Audrey Fleurot’s particular lifestyle

“The fact of never being at home goes with a bit of austerity all the same. Because in the evening you have all the next day’s text to learn. So you don’t go out. I compare this daily life a little to that of high-level athletes. It is still a healthy lifestyle that ensures that it’s not fun every day.”

But then, what is Audrey Fleurot’s secret to keeping up with such a pace of work? The actress explains that she prepares herself physically by doing a lot of sport. A way for her to stay in shape and be ready to face busy periods.

Audrey Fleurot has her secret

“I still do quite a bit, because it’s a priority, and has been for a very long time. I try to do it every day if possible. Even if it’s quite rare that I manage to free myself this time. It’s especially during filming that it’s complicated. After 9 p.m., I’m not going to run 10 kilometers… Or set an alarm at 5 a.m., to do my session from 5 a.m. to 6 a.m.…”

Soon, Audrey Fleurot should free up time with the end of the series HPI. Indeed, the 5e season should be the last. But in the meantime, viewers will be able to enjoy the latest adventures of Morgane Alvaro in the fourth season broadcast this evening on TF1.
