To mark the 94th anniversary of the birth of Sir Gaëtan Duval, an open day will be organized at his home. This year, it will take place on Sunday October 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This is what Xavier Duval announced during a press conference this Friday, October 11.
“This year, it will be a funfair open day, because it will be much more extensive than usual” explained the PMSD leader. There will be a « food court » next to the house, with around twenty stands. A podium will be installed in the courtyard and, from 1 p.m., a series of musical events will take place. A great magician, who has already performed in the greatest cabarets in the world, will also be present. In addition to this, a regatta with around twenty small boats will be organized.
For children, there will be, among other activities, pony rides and a bouncy castle. There will also be a live painting created by a dozen artists on the theme “Regatta and the sea”. In the afternoon, a “little surprise gift” will be offered to housewives.
Concerning the access problems last year, Xavier Duval explained that work was carried out to widen the edges of the road. “This time, access will be much smoother.”
