It was just a year ago… On April 23, 2023, Alicia Aylies gave birth to a little girl, Tamalia. While Miss France 2017 had not presented a man to her subscribers, it was a few months later that she announced that the father of her child was called Thomas. If the couple had put a lot of things in place to make their story last, the young woman announced their separation on Instagram, Saturday May 4, 2024. “I am a free womanI am a single mother”she first indicated.
In complete transparency, the former Miss France clarified: “The old Alicia who resurfaced recently asked herself why she is experiencing this situation. Why her? With hindsight and a lot of love, I understood that these are life lessons and above all that I am the master of my own happiness. So I am in love and on the path to my personal peace”before adding: “I’m not saying that it’s an easy and linear path, but every time I doubt, I would replace my sadness or my anger with love, happiness for myself and for others”.
Alicia Aylies: “Thomas lives in Guyana”
On December 19, 2023, on the set of the show In private with…, from Pure People, the 26-year-old young woman spoke about her love story. “Thomas lives in Guyana. So I’m in Paris with Tamalia. He goes back and forth, where Tamalia and I go back and forth to Guyana. It’s a hell of an organization. We set a goal of seeing each other every two months maximum. Fortunately FaceTime exists, that photos exist”she declared.
During this interview, Alicia Aylies assured that Thomas tried to be as best he could with her on a daily basis so as not to miss anything about their daughter’s development. “Things are going pretty well so far, but the goal is to come together fairly quickly under the same roof!“she confided before adding: “It was obvious for me to end my pregnancy in Guyana and for my daughter Tamalia to be born at home in Guyana”.
How did Alicia Aylies choose her daughter’s name?
Asked about her childbirth, Miss France 2017 declared that she wanted to return to her land, “warm”. “Above all, I wanted to be where I truly felt at home. Recharge my batteries, be in a moment of calm to finish this pregnancy, and above all welcome my daughter…”she had clarified.
Evoking the first name of her little Tamalia, Alicia Aylies specified: “I thought of the first name of my companion who is called Thomas and my first name, Alicia, and I had fun mixing things up with the syllables. And in fact, Tamalia it seemed obvious to me. So, I shared this idea with him and he was just as attracted to this name as I was. Afterward, I looked online and couldn’t find a Tamalia, but I think more little Tamalias will arrive.”.
