Pierre Niney: his house on the island of Yeu and his pet donkeys

“I have always been to this island, even in my mother’s womb” confided Pierre Niney to Vogue magazine in 2017, when he was nominated for the César for Best Actor for his role in the film Frantz by François Ozon. His parents own a house on the island of Yeu, and he himself goes there regularly with his children and his partner Natasha Andrews.

Accessible by boat or plane, the Vendée island is located in the Bay of Biscay; it displays on the one hand a rather green coast on the Port-Joinville side and a wilder and granite landscape on the other hand, between coves and cliffs. The 14th century Old Castle still sits in the southwest of the island, its ruins and building still visible. Pierre Niney has a traditional house on his favorite island where he goes with Natasha Andrews.

A holistic retreat organized by Pierre Niney’s partner

A certified yoga teacher and graduate in integrative nutrition, the young woman is preparing to run a tailor-made holistic program in tandem with the Domaines de Fontenille (Primard, Chalamon, Pieve Aldina). A prolific career

Born on March 13, 1989 in Boulogne-Billancourt, Pierre Niney was a resident of the Comédie Française between 2010 and 2015 — he was, at the time, the youngest of the troupe at 21 years old. He grew up in the 14th arrondissement of Paris and was awarded the César for best actor for his performance in the film Yves Saint Laurent by Jalil Lespert.
