The faithful of the “Star Academy” will only find very few known faces during the next season of the show. TF1 has in fact decided to skip the previous, successful edition, to start from an almost blank slate with an almost entirely overhauled faculty. Only Malika Benjelloun keeps her dance classes, where Sofia Morgavi (singing), Hugues Hamelynck (theatre) and Ladji Doucouré (sport) will discover the castle of Dammarie-lès-Lys. Future students, including Marine, will however be able to count on the presence of Nikos Aliagas and Karima Charni, both regulars of the place.

Karima Charni takes the bus after the prime and remains a voice-over for the daily

It was from the latter that the dental surgery student learned of her selection for this adventure, which will begin on October 12. The former academician will present the second parts of the Saturday evening but will also narrate the daily ones. This dual mission will force Bruce Toussaint’s collaborator to give up her cultural column in “Bonjour”, even though she combined both last year. The gang leader and his teams had anticipated this departure by poaching Candice Mahout from BFMTV.
