A few weeks ago, Cyril Féraud’s life changed radically. Having become a father for the first time, the host of France Télévisions surprised the whole of France with the revelation of his paternity on social networks. To preserve his secret garden, the new presenter of Everyone wants to take their place on France 2 kept the existence of her son Tim a secret until his birth. Now bound to a military schedule to juggle his career and his role as a dad, Cyril Féraud spoke about his daily life with his child “very desired and very surrounded” in the latest issue of The two of us.
Cyril Féraud confides in his daily life as a young dad
Cyril Féraud managed to keep the secret. “Very few people knew about it, in fact. I wanted to experience this adventure as quietly as possible and I think the surprise was quite successful”he told the magazine. “It’s true that we wonder if we will know how to do it, how we will react if there is a problem and, in fact, I loved that we finally found each other again”, he confided about his return from maternity ward with his son Tim. “It was the moment when you get to know your child. From the first days, I talked to him a lot and I continue to do so. So much so that when he hears my voice on television, he opens his eyes. It’s very funny!”he told as an anecdote about his new life as a dad.
Cyril Féraud reveals what has changed in his life since the birth of his son Tim
“Since Tim arrived, I haven’t been the same at all”admitted Cyril Féraud. The birth of his child helped him let go. “The very moment I heard his first cries, I said to myself: ‘Now there is nothing more important than my son’s health and happiness.’ I’m a pretty anxious person, the type to check things ten times. But there, even if I am still as passionate about my job, my first thought when I wake up in the morning is no longer to know the TV audiences from the day before, but to know if Tim slept well or if he needs a bottle”assured the host before rejoicing at this change of life: “I am very proud to have become a father.”
