Comedian and host Jonathan Roberge announced on his social networks his brand new project, which is an affront to none other than destiny.

“After years of being kicked in the hamstrings by fate, the show Kiss will find another way to survive!”, announced the show’s co-host in a new video Beyond Sex.

It was in 2019 that the comedian announced his very first one-man showThe very day he launched his show, his son, Xavier, then aged 10, was diagnosed with brain cancer.

After stopping everything to take care of himself for a while, the comedian wanted to go back on tour, and COVID arrived. When the lockdown ended, the dad wanted to put his show on again, but learned that his son had a relapse. Following a new lockdown and a few relapses, the comedian no longer wanted to do the show, since it was too difficult in his personal life.

A few years later, after his texts had been sleeping on his computer, he embarked on the project of making a book of them.

F*ck you “Destiny, we’re going to have the same texts, this show will see the light of day in its own way,” he declared.

The preface of the book is signed by his friend, Marie-Annick Lépineviolinist of the Cowboys Fringants, having recently lost his spouse, Karl Tremblay“If there’s anyone who knows what it’s like to get up on stage and act like nothing’s happening while the person you love is fighting for their life, it’s her,” Jonathan said.
