On the program this Friday evening on TF1: a special edition of Who wants to be a millionairethe channel’s legendary game show, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary. The cast includes personalities (who fight for associations) such as Philippe Caverivière and Jarry, and Léa Salamé. You are more used to seeing the latter on France 2, notably as the presenter of What a time!a show that was adapted this summer for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Every evening, she debriefs the performances of the French athletes, with her team.
A summer period that will therefore have been very intense for the host, without forgetting her investment just before that during the European elections, in which her partner Raphaël Glucksmann, father of her son Gabriel, had presented himself. Because, if she stepped back, as in 2019, from political interviews during the campaign, she logically remained very concerned by everything that was happening, not hesitating to give advice to her man.
Léa Salamé, rare confidences about her relationship
“Of course I sometimes tell him what I thought of certain TV or radio performances. I sometimes criticize him for speaking too slowly. I can also say to him ‘you were annoying’ or ‘you weren’t standing up straight’. But like any partner of a public figure. Afterwards, of course we like to talk politics at home, it’s our life together.“, she revealed in July, during an interview given to The Sunday Tribune. She also returned to their meeting. Would she have embarked on this relationship if she knew at the time that Raphaël Glucksmann would be as exposed as he is today?
“I don’t think so! Even if you can’t do anything when love falls on you (…) We met in 2015 on the set of On est pas couché. He was an essayist and at the time didn’t want to get into politics at all? When he expressed the wish, I obviously didn’t stop him. Since then, each of us has been pursuing our careers in parallel. We managed to compartmentalize our activities. We never show ourselves publicly together.” she replied. A couple who are indeed discreet, and who at least try to be so despite their media exposure.
