Four years after the success of his last album ResourcesAmir’s fans were eagerly awaiting his return. This is now done since The 40-year-old singer has unveiled his new album entitled C Amir last September 13th. “I’ve never been so proud of an album.” he confided to our colleagues at NRJ at the time of the release of this new CD. A disc composed of twelve tracks including the song Summit resonated all summer that a new single has just been released. It is Complementarya ballad about the love of two soul mates.
This September 17, Amir was the guest of France 2 in the morning show of “Télématin”. On this occasion, Flavie Flament asked him about the way he proposed to his wife Lital. It must be said that the way was unconventional since it was “in a supermarket“from Tel Aviv that his sweetheart told him”Yes“in the wine section.”I was looking for an original and unexpected idea” he confides. “We had decorated the entire wine section with labels on the bottles.” says the artist explaining that “friends were hidden everywhere” while the surprise was filmed by several hidden cameras. Amir: his big comeback after the last few difficult months that he puts to music
The last few months have not been easy for the artist but he chose to make it a strength. Thus, in this latest album, the artist evokes without filter these upsetting dramas. First of all, Amir looks back on this terrible ordeal experienced in April 2023. That month, The singer lost his mother, to whom he was very close.. In an interview with Parisianhe evokes the piece In the Morning of the Worldin which he talks about his mother. “She is with me from morning to night, in my thoughts (…) “She is a very central being in my life. Losing her was an earthquake” he told our colleagues. He finally reveals that the name of the album is in fact an anagram of his mother’s first name.
Furthermore, there is another drama that had a huge impact on him. These are the attacks of October 7, 2023 at the Supernova Festival in Israel. A tragic event which also gives rise to a song on his new album. A song called Supernova. “There’s something inside me that got slaughtered” Amir confided to our colleagues at BFM TV.”If I have this platform as an artist and as a Jew (…) I I want to make a punchy song that disturbs and which allows people to remember what happened” he concludes.
