Groupe ADP reacted Monday to statements by the general director of Air France-KLM published the same day in Le Parisien, in which he affirmed that the airline is “less well (treated)” than its foreign competitors by the operator Orly and Roissy-Charles-De-Gaulle airports.
“Groupe ADP expresses its surprise at the comments made in the newspaper Le Parisien on January 20, 2025 by the general manager of its first customer Air France-KLM,” ADP declares in a press release.
In an interview published by Le Parisien on Monday, Benjamin Smith, general manager of Air France-KLM, notably deplored that the group's “contact rate”, which corresponds to cases in which boarding and disembarkation takes place directly from the terminal, was lower than that of its competitors.
-The ADP press release specifies that, “with regard to the contact rate at Paris-CDG (…) that of all Air France operations is higher than that of the other Paris-CDG airlines”.
The group adds that the Air France and ADP teams have been working closely for several months on airport modernization projects, “in perfect harmony”.
