A first alert came in November 2024. At the beginning of the month, the Brest commercial court declared Sarl Buffa'lorn in receivership. The Buffalo Grill restaurant in Landerneau, located in the Bois-Noir area since 2013, employs 20 employees. But this alarm was only the first of the difficulties experienced by Marie-Aude Naze, the manager of eight establishments throughout northern Brittany.
160 employees, “it’s not neutral”
During an exceptional hearing at the Brest commercial court, seven other restaurants, which she also manages, were in turn placed in receivership last week. The establishments of Morlaix (18 employees), Trégueux (21 employees), Bain-de-Bretagne (22 employees), Lamballe (14 employees), Saint-Agathon (17 employees), Lannion (23 employees) and Guilers (22 employees) , opened in January 2024, are thus affected. In total, including that of Landerneau and the company which provided administrative services, no less than 160 jobs are involved. “It’s clearly not neutral,” points out an informed observer of the restaurant world.
According to the official bulletin of civil and commercial announcements (Bodacc), the manager indicated that the date of cessation of payments was July 15, 2024, that is to say six months ago. Contacted, Marie-Aude Naze did not respond to our requests.
