A new player specializing in copper, a metal essential to the electrification of our societies, set up in Switzerland, in the canton of Zug, in January. Solaris Resources opened its office earlier this month when its new managing director, Matthew Rowlinson, a former copper specialist at Glencore, took office.
“Junior” – as these groups specialize in the exploration and early development of mining projects – is listed in Toronto and New York. She wants to develop projects in Mexico, Chile and Peru. But the main one is in Ecuador and bears the name Warintza.
