Budget timetable will be met, assures resigning minister Thomas Cazenave

Revenues lower than expected

Thomas Cazenave further confirmed that for 2024 “on certain receipts, the collections are, at this stage, a little below what we anticipated”He attributes this in particular to “new expenditure that was not planned, particularly for support for New Caledonia” and to “the very sharp increase in local authority spending”The Finance Bill (PLF) must be submitted to Parliament by October 1 at the latest, and be voted on and published before January 1.
