BNP Paribas signs with Oracle to strengthen its cloud strategy

This partnership will allow the bank to centralize databases operated via Oracle solutions on a single platform and benefit from the advantages of automation offered by this solution.

BNP Paribas has relied on Oracle technology to manage part of its on-premises databases for more than 20 years. The group is now integrating Exadata Cloud@Customer in order to improve the performance of the management of these databases. This choice responds to the bank’s ambition to continue to improve its services while guaranteeing the security of its customers’ data in order to offer them an ever more fluid and personalized experience.

Thanks to Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer, the bank will be able to combine the advantages of a cloud infrastructure while maintaining these databases on-premises.
