Canada abandons homework throughout its school curriculum

During an expected announcement this morning in Halifax, Canada confirmed that it was moving forward with its education reform abolishing homework, starting next school year. Indeed, several recent studies have shown that homework, particularly in primary school, has only a minimal influence on success.
