A Swiss university would favor the richest students

At Franklin University Switzerland, located in Sorengo, TI, everything seems perfect at first glance: palm trees, manicured hedges, and a bucolic setting that gives the impression of a special place. However, upon closer inspection, another reality emerges. According to the “NZZ”, which collected testimonies from several former employees, questionable practices regarding the awarding of diplomas are reported, in particular for students from wealthy families. Parents would intervene directly with the university management. The latter would put pressure on teachers to pass certain students, even if their performance is insufficient.

Despite its image as a privileged place of learning, Franklin University is regularly singled out for the management of its evaluations. While the university stands out for its educational approach and academic travel, accusations of favoritism persist. Many former teachers denounce management interference in exam results, creating a feeling of unease and distrust among teachers and students.

These practices, according to some accounts, harm the quality of teaching and devalue the institution's diplomas, particularly in the eyes of serious students.
