Once the season was over, the Thezan BTC took stock of the past season and its future, keeping in mind conviviality and a sense of volunteerism.

The season which begins on the first Sunday in March and ends on the last Sunday in September passed without any particular problem. The friendly atmosphere is always there for the fifty licensees who come to train every Sunday, including licensees and members from other Aude clubs.

The club has been represented in various departmental competitions. Among the results of the season, it is worth noting the title of vice-champion of in DTL (down the line) ball-trap for ladies A by Clémence Brunet-Manquat. “A great result for a first year in this category after being French champion in ladies B last year” underlined President Laurent Laffon. The latter hopes that the club will continue in this direction. He will take a step back from competitions to devote himself more to the local club.

The president also underlined the involvement of the volunteers available for the maintenance of the site and in particular for the repair of the fence. Treasurer Germinal Ortega, as usual, presented a clear and precise financial report which allows us to look forward to the next season with peace of mind. The general assembly took place in the presence of Edwige Villot, president of the departmental ball-trap committee, member of the steering committee of the region and the national ball-trap federation in , who announced that she would officially cease his functions in 2025 during the meeting scheduled for January 18 at the Lézignan ball-trap club after having devoted decades to ball-trap.
