As a partner of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in organizing various programs, TikTok is committed to supporting e-commerce initiatives and helping the ministry introduce Vietnamese manufacturers' products to the consumer community .
Hoàng Thi Tân, director of Tam Tra Thai cooperative, said her cooperative has been actively engaged in promoting its products on online platforms such as Zalo, TikTok, Facebook and its website. Currently, around 40% of its production is marketed via these digital platforms.
Breakthrough Opportunities
The adoption of information technology and digital transformation also provide breakthrough opportunities for the collective economic sector and cooperatives in Thai Binh province. According to Lai Viet Anh, deputy director of the Vietnam E-commerce and Digital Economy Agency of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the rapid growth of e-commerce is accompanied by challenges such as competition concerns, counterfeit products, intellectual property violations and unequal corporate participation.
Regarding the future of e-commerce, Lai Viet Anh stressed the importance of developing human resources and sustainable e-commerce. This requires a balance between the interests of consumers and businesses, large and small businesses, as well as domestic and foreign companies. This balance will allow Vietnam to reconcile its economic growth objectives with its social and environmental ambitions.
