The fanfare of the Chapelloise received on December 6, 2024, in Rives-d'Andaine (Orne) a visit from two representatives of the Crédit Agricole de La Chapelle d'Andaine.
Gilles Rocher, president of the local fund and Mickaël Chevillard, agency director, came to attend the rehearsal of the musical ensemble before presenting a grant of €1,000.
Thanks to this financial boost, the association chaired by Amandine Blottiere, will be able to invest in new musical equipment, in particular drums suitable for children. “We had the pleasure of listening to La Chapelloise train,” declared Mickaël Chevillard. With Gilles Rocher, we had a pleasant time.
It is important for the Local Fund to continue to support the associations in our region. Our support can notably involve financial participation in association projects.
An intergenerational fanfare
The band is currently made up of around thirty members and aims to be intergenerational. We meet musicians of all ages: children, teenagers, working people, retirees. The association happily welcomes new musicians to the brass band, whether they are novices or experienced.
Rehearsals take place every Friday evening for all members of the band, and are supplemented by specific rehearsals on Saturday mornings for children. La Chapelloise carries out around ten outings per year.
Masterclass and 2025
Among the various activities planned for 2025, the association will organize a Masterclass.
For a weekend, the members of La Chapelloise will be accommodated in a lodge and will benefit from lessons taught by three music professionals. The destination has not yet been communicated.
