Pressure is mounting on pornographic sites. As more and more minors are exposed to this type of images and videos, the regulatory grip is tightening in France. From January 11, these services will be forced to control the age of their users by offering them several solutions published by external providers, from sending a video selfie so that an AI estimates the visitor’s age at that of an identity document.
At least one of these solutions must ensure “double anonymity”, that is to say that the age verifier will not know which site is requesting this information, and site X will not know the identity of its visitor. Enough to ensure maximum protection of the privacy of Internet users in the event of a data leak.
