Funny scene, this Friday April 1st… no, sorry, this Friday November 1st, 2024, in the morning, in Quimper. This car, parked on rue Louis-Pasteur, in the Kergoat-al-Lez sector, now finds itself blocked by work. All around the vehicle, the bitumen has in fact been eaten away and deep trenches have been dug to reach the underground networks.
The image, revealed on Facebook, did not fail to fuel the conversation this Friday. “It goes wide on the sidewalk,” laughs one Internet user when others wonder why the troublesome vehicle was not moved to the impound lot. “Soon, leaks from the very old drinking water network will be history in the rue de La Tour d'Auvergne. Water is precious. Nothing should stop the renewal of water networks and nothing should slow down the re-circulation of the street,” writes Patrick Troglia, municipal councilor responsible for active mobility and roads.
