Data on business creations in in September will be revealed at 8:45 a.m. This last session of the week will again be driven by company results. Yesterday, EssilorLuxottica, FDJ, Lagardère and Virbac revealed their turnover.

EssilorLuxottica announces that its consolidated turnover for the third quarter of 2024 amounts to 6.44 billion euros, up 4% at constant exchange rates (+2.3% at current exchange rates). “This third quarter of the year saw sustained revenue growth, with all regions and channels on a positive trajectory, overall close to the group’s target pace, with EMEA and most emerging regions in the lead,” explains the eyewear manufacturer.

FDJ

FDJ announces that at the end of September, its turnover showed an increase of 11.9% in published data and of 5.8% on a comparable basis to 2.09 billion euros. The gambling specialist is adjusting its outlook upwards, expecting an increase in its turnover close to 9% and greater than 5% for its gaming activities in France, and a current Ebitda margin close to 25 %. By integrating Kindred from October and based on the activities retained by FDJ, the growth in published 2024 turnover would be close to 16% with a current Ebitda margin close to 25%.

Lagardère

Lagardère announced solid growth in the group’s turnover over the first nine months of 2024: +9.1% on a comparable basis to 6.61 billion euros. The diversified group specified that in the third quarter, the increase in the level of activity (+7.4% on a comparable basis to 2.417 billion euros) was mainly supported by the dynamism of Lagardère Travel Retail (+11.7% to 1.596 billion) driven by France and the Europe Middle East Africa zone. Lagardère Publishing saw its activity stabilize at 765 million euros thanks to the performance of activity in the United States.

Virbac

In the third quarter, Virbac’s turnover reached 339.2 million euros, up significantly by +7.7% at actual exchange rates. At constant exchange rates, activity is growing by +9.9% compared to the same period of 2023. Recent external growth operations (acquisition of the companies Globion in India and Sasaeah in Japan) contribute + 6.5 points of growth over the period. Thus, at constant exchange rates and scope, revenue growth reached +3.4%.
