New sessions of the Coffre des Mots with the Institut Médiation Aude (IMA), in order to give a voice to the children of separated parents

Note that during each of these workshops, an hour and a half is devoted to the children’s expression alone, before they are joined by the parents for an hour and a half more. We would like to develop family mediation in a prison environment

“Many of these children are marked by separation. They are sometimes afraid or feel guilty. The goal is for them to be able to find their place as children again”adds Françoise Boucher. Each group is made up of six to seven children aged 7 to 12, and relies on the dynamism of the facilitators. “We would like to develop family mediation in a prison environment. This is a project that I worked on, following a request from the courts. Two mediators have already trained for this”specifies Bruno de Rose. For the moment, two sessions of the Coffre des Mots are organized each year by the IMA (in spring and autumn, editor’s note), certified by the Network for listening, support and support for parenthood ( REAAP) supported by Caf, MSA and the departmental council.
