US authorities have announced that they have discovered a new Russian interference network in the United States two months before the presidential election. At the heart of this campaign: Tenet Media, a far-right site to which several famous pro-Trump influencers contributed.
This is a text with gaps. The indictment of the American Department of Justice revealing, on Wednesday, September 4, a new operation of Russian interference in the United States, orchestrated by the Russian state media RT, is careful not to name several key suspects in the case.
It is a question of “commentator-1”, “founder-2” or even “person-3”. But the “great unknown” of this document which had the effect of a bomb in the United States two months before the presidential election concerns “company-1” which received nearly 10 million dollars to preach the good word of Moscow.
Influencers of the “magasphere”
Described by the Justice Department as a “political commentary” site at the heart of RT’s interference effort, “Company-1” was quickly identified by Internet users and several media outlets. It is Tenet Media, a far-right media outlet founded in 2022 and which, in its two years of existence, has notably produced 2,000 videos viewed more than 16 million times on YouTube.
