Michael Keaton wants his real last name back
Did you know that Michael Keaton’s real name is… Michael Douglas? The actor was forced to create a stage name when he started out because his surname was already used by another actor, notably known for his roles in Wall Street et Basic Instinctand by a talk show host. However, after almost fifty years of career, the star of Beetlejuice Beetlejuiceaged 73, told People that he had decided to add his birth name to his stage name.
He will still appear under the name “Michael Keaton” in the credits of Tim Burton’s film, which is scheduled for release at the end of the week. After that, it will be Michael Keaton-Douglas who we will have to address!
