Laurent Tirard, “influenced by Jacques Tati and a great admirer of Star Wars”, the press release underlines, is known for his films Little Nicolas, Little Nicolas’s Holidays, Asterix and Obelix: In Her Majesty’s Servicewith Edouard Baer and Gérard Depardieu, A Man of Height with Jean Dujardin and Virginie Efira or even The Speechwith Benjamin Lavernhe.
We also owe him Molièrefreely adapted from the author’s life, with Romain Duris and Fabrice Luchini in 2007.
