Contacted by the newspaper, La Poste did not comment on these amounts, but confirmed the facts: “The salary is due to Roberto Cirillo until the end of his employment relationship, that is to say until the end July; this corresponds to the legal provisions of the code of obligations,” said a spokesperson.
-The chairman of the board of directors of the yellow giant, Christian Levrat, also justified the maintenance of the salary by indicating that “Roberto Cirillo will be available to the company until the end of his contractual termination period at the end of July”.
The affair is reminiscent of the departure of former SBB chief Andreas Meyer. In 2020, the latter received his full salary, around 450,000 francs, for six months after his resignation.
