“Buy a Tesla, support fascism!”. German activists claimed, Thursday, January 23, the projection of the Nazi salvation of Elon Musk on a Tesla factory, in Grünheide, near Berlin. This fascist gesture, which the billionaire made in a moment of exaltation on the day of the inauguration of Donald Trump as 47th president of the United States, found himself on Wednesday evening, in very large format, on the facade of this factory of electric cars, the only «gigafactory» European of Tesla. “We want to organize the destruction of Elon Musk in an artistic way”, Supported Philipp Ruch, an official of the collective “Center for political beauty” (ZPS).
On the X network, property of Elon Musk, the group of activists posted a night photo of their artistic feat. The projection also shows the word “Heil” alongside the luminous sign of the factory, so as to form the expression “Heil Tesla”, in reference to Hitler's salvation. “Buy a Tesla, support fascism!”, Thursday launched the collective created in 2017 and accustomed to satirical actions, in another message where a video of the projection on the factory appears. According to the organizers, the action lasted an hour, with also projections of Alice Weidel, candidate of the far -right AFD party to the Chancellery supported by the richest man in the world.
The case was sent to the prosecution, local police told AFP. Ironically, according to the ZPS which cites a German media, the investigation was opened for “suspicion of using distinctive signs of unconstoloral organizations”. For several weeks, Elon Musk has regularly interfered in the German legislative elections campaign on February 23, in order to praise AFD. He thus called the Social Democratic Chancellor Olaf Scholz as «fou» et “An incompetent fool” and President Frank-Walter Steinmeier de “tyrant”. Surveys creden the AFD from second place with at least 20 % of the vote, behind the conservatives.
