An old testament of Bob Dylan is for sale.
The 83-year-old singer signed the will as Robert Dylan and it is dated August 26, 1976. The text indicates that it is an amendment to a document he filed on September 22. previous year.
The typewritten codicil – which is hand-signed and dated – is being offered for sale through Moments in Time, with the price set by collectors at $27,500.
In it, Bob states that he leaves his brother David Zimmerman $50,000 and the house he lived in at the time, and that he makes arrangements for any children who survive him.
-At the time of signing the document, Bob was the father of Maria, now 63, Jesse, now 59, Anna, 57, Samuel, 56, and Jakob, 55, with his wife at the time, Sara Lownds. He went on to have a daughter, Desiree, now 38, with his second wife Carolyn Dennis, from whom he separated in 1992.
It’s unclear exactly when the singer rewrote his will so that this version could change hands today.
