An Edmonton collection agency finds that the team of Liberal leadership candidate Mark Carney, who aspires to lead the country, took a little too much inspiration from his logo and is asking him to stop using it.

“His creative team definitely took a shortcut. Symbols generally have to be searched for first,” denounced Journal Brian Summerfelt, CEO of MetCredit, which is headquartered in Edmonton.
“We’ll see what happens today. I sent an email to his campaign office last night,” he added.
Launched in 1973, MetCrédit offers debt recovery services. It has its main office in Edmonton and branches in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver.

Mark Carney entered the Liberal leadership race last Thursday.
