Salaries will be increased from February 2025. Seasonal workers will, however, have to wait until the start of the summer season, on May 1, before seeing their salaries increase.

Minimum wages in the hotel and catering industry will increase by 1.1% from February, the CCNT control office indicated on Wednesday. A court decided to impose this increase on the sector, no agreement having been reached with the unions.

The Supreme Court of the Canton of Berne set these new minimum wages on Monday in a binding manner, wrote the monitoring office of the Collective Labor Agreement for the Swiss Hotel and Catering Industry (CCNT) in a press release.

Salaries will be increased from February 2025. Seasonal workers will, however, have to wait until the start of the summer season, on 1is May, before seeing their salaries increase.

Employees without apprenticeships will receive a minimum of 3,706 francs instead of 3,666 francs. The salary will increase from 4,018 francs to 4,062 francs for those who have completed their professional training.
