After “a successful financial restoration”, the Rocher group asserts, in a press release this Wednesday, to refocus on “its historical know-how”, cosmetic products, and says it is increasing its investment budgets by 50%. This new strategy of the company based in La Gacilly (56) is accompanied by theannouncement of its “desire to initiate a process of sale of the children’s fashion and home care divisions, with the Petit Bateau and Stanhome brands”.

The group’s management says it wants to take “the time to examine takeover options that could offer these two brands a solid future, with contacts driven by a vision of growth and sustainability” and cites as examples, “the recent sale carried out for the Ploërmel perfume factory” and “the makeup brand Flormar”.

370 Petit Bateau points of sale in

The children’s clothing brand Petit Bateau has a distribution network of 370 points of sale (including 200 internationally) and 760 retailers (including 500 outside of France). She produces 28 million parts each year and generates 55% of its turnover in France, 25% in Europe excluding France, 10% in Japan.

Stanhome is a brand of home care products, created in 1931 in the United States. It has a network of more than 130,000 independent sellers in Mexico, 60,000 in Italy and more than 14,000 in France.

In 2024, the Rocher group achieved a turnover of around €2.2 billion, an increase of 2.4% over one year. It is distributed 53% for the Yves Rocher brand, 13% for Arbonne, 6% for Sabon, 2.5% for Dr Pierre Ricaud, 12% for Petit Bateau and 9% for Stanhome.
