Lonza launches development of nasal spray against obesity

Pharmaceutical contract manufacturer Lonza has been commissioned by Swedish inhalation specialist Iconovo to develop a dry nebulized formulation of an experimental treatment for obesity. To do this, the Rhenish-Valais multinational will use the capabilities of its Bend, Oregon, site, which specializes in questions of bioavailability and pharmacokinetics.
