He took the lead from the first moments of the race, managing his effort with mastery to remain alone in the lead and never really threatened. He once again takes the throne of French cyclo-cross.

“It’s a big relief. Last year, I arrived in the Arkéa-B&B Hôtels team and found myself directly playing for the title in Brittany, on the team’s home ground. It was a big pressure for results and it wasn't easy this time, I arrived here not having had the sensations I had hoped for on the previous crosses.said Venturini on arrival.
“Pont-Château is special for me. I thought of my wife and my future son in the last laps, it was also for him today”he confided, with tears in his eyes. “If we think that winning a French Champion title is easy, we are wrong. These tears are those of sacrifice… It's far from easy. I have a lot of respect for my opponents. I started as if I had never won. Having the jersey is something special every time.”
