The Berry-Althoff estate and Le Quai à Raisins are part of the beautiful stories that we love. Robin Altholf and Imogen Béryl met in , during oenology classes, in 2012. She, a native of England, he from here, his mother is in the wine business near Sommières.

After making wine in South Africa and California in particular, they settled down in Aubais and created Le Quai à raisins from scratch. “Having no land when we started, we had the freedom to select the most qualitative terroirs best suited to the profile of our wines and rich in fauna and flora”, Robin insists.

Little by little they buy land. They buy grapes from other organic winegrowers, from Beaujolais to Roussillon, which they then vinify in their cellar. But, they also constitute an agricultural estate, owning 2 ha of olive trees, orchard and pasture land.

Today, the estate has around ten hectares of vines cultivated in organic and biodynamic agriculture under the Déméter label.
