A further step towards new technologies and artificial intelligence was taken on Thursday January 9 evening, during the presentation of Catherine Desprez’s wishes. The year of the census
For 2025, the finalization of the Poyaud subdivision and the opening to marketing should take place (“finally!”, as Catherine Desprez pointed out) in September 2025. Also on the program is the restructuring and expansion of the central kitchen for an amount estimated at two million euros (the largest investment) but also in projects, the restoration of the Renaissance door (in the castle). The year 2025 will also be the census of the population which is currently 7,029 inhabitants.
Finally, the screening of a film on the station center project, the groundbreaking of which is planned for the start of the year. A futuristic video showing the center with its vast tree-lined parking lots, its welcoming promenades and its new traffic plan. But you will first have to go through some difficulties with the closure of the departmental road (in front of the station) for a year.
