The police arrested four individuals
Trois-Rivières police confirm they have arrested four individuals in connection with the theft of a vehicle, thanks to a citizen.
According to the police department, the four individuals had just attempted to steal a Jeep Gladiator vehicle.
It all happened last Monday. Around 10:30 p.m., a citizen contacted 911 to report that four suspects were trying to
to steal the vehicle in the District 55 area.
The citizen provided a good description of the individuals as well as their getaway vehicle, which allowed patrol officers to locate them a few minutes later and make their arrest.
A search of their vehicle led to the seizure of a quantity of drugs and tools used in vehicle theft.
The individuals, two adult men and two minor men, were taken to headquarters and were met by investigators.
-They were released on a promise to appear and will appear at the courthouse at a later date.
The Trois-Rivières Police Department wanted to thank the citizen for his contribution to these arrests.
