Since 1is January 2025, Sébastien Gandon is the new Senior Client Portfolio Manager of Banque de Luxembourg Investments (BLI), the group announced this Friday, January 10. “As a representative of the management teams, he will play a central role in the development of the BLI and the support of its internal and external distributors,” indicates the press release.
Sébastien Gandon will report directly to the CEO of the BLI, who is delighted with this arrival: “With Sébastien, we welcome a competent personality who has solid knowledge of the asset management profession and a large network of contacts,” she declared. “We were convinced not only by his skills and previous professional experience, but also by his natural alignment with our values, our beliefs in active management and our long-term oriented entrepreneurial approach.”
Aged 42, the French graduate of EDHEC has 20 years of experience in asset management. Previously based in Hong Kong, he was in charge of development and sales at Harvest Global Investments, the international arm of Harvest Fund Management. He was also in charge of sales for Asia and Continental Europe at East Capital and worked for Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management.
“I am delighted with this new demanding professional mission and the opportunity to put my skills at the service of fund distribution and thus help the BLI and its distributors to establish a relationship of trust with investors and to develop new markets,” he said when this appointment was announced.
As a reminder, BLI is the asset management company of Banque de Luxembourg. It manages a range of more than 35 investment funds with assets totaling 12.66 billion euros as of December 31, 2024.
