After the static tests carried out by the jury of the “Car Of The Year” (COTY) competition, 7 models were selected among the 30 vehicles in competition as part of this election organized by the Association of Vehicle Importers in Morocco (AIVAM ).
Remember that initially, 30 models were competing for the COTY 2025 prize, including the Alfa Romeo Junior, the Audi A1, the BMW X2, the BMW 1 Series, the BYD Seal U, the Changan CS 55 Plus, the Changan Unik K, the Cupra Ateca, the Cupra Leon, the Dacia Jogger, the Great Wall Haval Jolion HEV, the Great Wall Haval H6 HEV, the Great Wall Ora, the Hyundai Kona, the Hyundai Accent, the Jeep Avenger, the Kia Picanto, the Mini Countryman, the Mini Cooper 3 P, the Mini Cooper 5 P, the Nissan X-Trail, the Peugeot 3008, the Renault Austral , the Renault Megane E-Tech, the Renault Kangoo, the Renault Kardian, the Skoda Fabia, the Skoda Kodiaq, the Volkswagen Tiguan and the Volvo EX30.

The static tests, which took place this Thursday, January 9, 2025, allowed the jury to determine a panel of 7 vehicles (among the 30 nominees), according to the criteria of the COTY internal regulations filed with Maître Majid Benjelloun Zahr. Qualified for the second round are the BYD Seal U, the Cupra Leon, the Dacia Jogger, the Peugeot 3008, the Renault Kardian, the Skoda Kodiaq and the Volkswagen Tiguan. The dynamic tests, which will take place this Friday, January 10 in the Bouskoura region, will make it possible to elect the car of the year 2025 in Morocco. The latter will soon be revealed to the public during a festive evening concocted by AIVAM.
